"My name is Erica Cordero Oyonarte and I would like to tell you about what the science means to me.
Since I was a child, I knew what I liked was science and not literature due to I preferred mathematics, physics, chemistry... The idea of doing research, helping people with my work and, above all, enjoying what I was doing made me happy. It has been a long way, but now I am here, as a PhD student at CRISMAT, in a European project about “Electron crystallography of nanoparticles” (NanED H2020-MSCA-ITN GA956099) and I have to say that I couldn’t be happier.
Science has taught me many things, like working alone or in a team, working under pressure, the satisfaction of a good result (also taking into account the bad ones, which guided me many times), concentration, perseverance, and also that science can be fun and very interesting. Thank to Olivia, I can say that all of this is perfectly capture in this picture."
